What domestic shipping options are available?

Shorty’s offers 2 shipping methods to our customers, USPS & UPS. Minimum shipping is $35 per hat. Shorty’s ships items Monday through Friday excluding weekends and holidays. Next day or Second day shipping is available, please contact Shorty’s for shipping rates. During our peak times throughout the year, when the orders received increase, your delivery may be slightly delayed. We are still checking to see that the items you will receive are perfect and have passed our QA process, and with increased orders this takes a bit more time on our team’s end!

What is the estimated time of delivery for domestic shipping?

Ground ships for domestic orders arrives within (5-7) business days from shipment date.
Rural locations may require one or more additional business days for shipment.
Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and Guam averages between (10-14) business days and may require one-additional business day by UPS or USPS.
Expedited shipping is available, this is billed to the responsible party, please call Shorty’s for rates.
In- Stock order’s for Shorty’s items placed by phone or through www.shortyshattery.com, will ship with-in 7-14 business from original receipt.
Out of stock orders will ship when available, we will notify you if an item is out of stock. Contact customer service for information about specific items.

Do you ship to PO addresses?

Yes, we ship to P.O. boxes, but this can often takes 2-3 times as long as our other shipping methods to deliver your package. If you would prefer quicker shipping methods, we would need a new address without a P.O. box. The estimated arrival time to PO boxes in the US can range from (7-10) business days

What countries will Shorty’s ship to outside the US?

How much time will my international order take to deliver?

Generally, average delivery time for shipments outside the US ranges from (7-14) days. Felts, leathers and all exotic leathers are subject to Declaration and CITES permits and fees that can take 3 to 120 business days. In addition, once the item is shipped customs clearance procedures can occasionally cause unforeseen delays. Please email orders@shortyshattery.com to request information.

What is the Shorty’s international return policy?

For international returns, please email Customer Service for information at orders@shortyshatterycom. All shipping, duties, taxes and other fees must be paid upon shipment. Refunds for international orders will be for the original purchase price. Unfortunately, we cannot refund your original domestic/international shipping charges or any duties, taxes or tarrifs. We cannot offer free exchange shipping on international orders. International customers are required to pay the shipping for their return shipments. For information on applicable fees or with help on customs forms, please contact your local postal service.

What other fees may be charged for shipping internationally?

There are restrictions enforced by the U.S. Department of Fish & Wildlife on shipping certain materials and exotic leathers outside the United States. In addition, each country has its own laws, regulations and restrictions regarding certain leathers and exotics. Obtaining the proper declarations and processing required fees and taxes can take anywhere from 3 to 120 business days or more, depending on your ship-to location and the product you are purchasing. Please check with your country’s rules, regulations, other taxes or fees that will apply. Additional charges may be different to what is quoted by email and additional fees may be required depending on the applicable (COD) at the time of delivery. If the charges due are not paid COD, the merchandise will be returned back to Shorty’s and you will not be refunded for any of the shipping charges.

Why is it so expensive to ship overseas? What are the import fees?

We love that Shorty’s hats have made customers happy globally! Please be aware that tariffs and taxes are not implemented by our company, but by federal government policies that are beyond our control.

Our international shipping charges DO NOT INCLUDE any applicable import taxes, customs duties, or fees that are due upon entry into the destination country. All duties, fees, and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient, and are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient’s country.
