The Rodeo King hats that we sell online are 30x, 10x and 7x. The “X” rating on a felt cowboy hat traditionally refers to the quality and amount of premium animal fur used in the felt, such as beaver and other fine furs. In general, a higher X rating indicates a higher-grade felt, which can mean a softer feel, greater durability, better shape retention, and improved resistance to the elements.
