Returns & Restocking Policy

Please note that there are some items for which we cannot accept returns unless the product is defective. These items include: custom or semi-custom, straw hats, final clearance items.

Shorty’s Felt In-stock hat(s):

A 25% re-stocking fee will be charged on returns of ready-made (Shorty’s Stock) hat(s) minus shipping within 30 days of receipt as long as the returned items remain unworn or damaged in original condition with original purchase receipt.

Custom or Semi-Custom and Straw hat(s):

Sales of custom or semi-custom straw items are made especially for you and are therefore not returnable, all sales final. All deposit(s) are non refundable after 30 days or purchase.

There is a possibility that customers who contact us to cancel a custom/ semi custom made hat order BEFORE the custom hat has started production may not be charged the remainder of the fee for the hat. This will be decided upon a case by case basis. If ANY of the materials for the hat have been ordered the customer will be responsible for the full payment of the hat. If you have made a deposit on a custom hat then your deposit in non-refundable. This also applies to all customized in-stock items/ hat(s).

If your Shorty’s custom hat(s) does not fit, they may be returned for re-blocking. See below for re-blocking information

If your Shorty’s custom felt hat does not fit upon receipt of the hat(s) please contact Shorty’s Caboy Hattery with in 30 days for adjustments.

If Shorty’s measured you

No charge for re-blocking when hat(s) are sent back within 30 days of your receipt. Adjustments will be made until your hat fits

If you sent in your measurement

Re-blocking services will be paid by the responsible party plus the return shipping fee. Plan for your re-blocking to take approximately 3 weeks.
